CHEESY VEGAN GREENS & BEANS...
So the dish looks GORGEOUS finished! I felt the sauteed mushrooms were a MUST! I just sauteed them on medium heat with enough veggie broth to cover the pan bottom and sprinkled them with garlic salt & Italian seasoning. Stir frequently and add more broth if necessary to keep from sticking... sautee about 5 min or until soft and then added them on top of the dish instead of to the sauce. The sauce smelled super yummy while I was cooking it up. However, oat milk is sweet so it gave the sauce a little sweet flavoring where I was hoping more for savory & it didn't taste cheesy to me. It's a filling meal, but I did feel that it was missing something flavor wise- lemon maybe? We did add pepper flakes for a little heat. Jake liked it and finished it.
