Today started out good, I broke my 20 hour fast with homemade beef nachos and fries. Then all h*** broke loose. My anxiety has been high all weekend and today I let the stress get the best of me. But that’s okay, it happens. Even though I ate like I hadn’t had food in months today I didn’t blow it. Tomorrow I will just have a down day and only consume 500 calories to balance out today.
For anyone wondering there is actually a form of fasting called up day down day diet. There is a science behind it, but the short version of it is you eat like you regularly would one day and the next day you eat 500 calories or less. This increases a couple of hormones in the body and is a great way to lose pounds quick.
