Another housewarming dinner with hotpot🥢 Accumulated 2 times of hotpot dinner experience, I realised the chicken blood curd, drunken appetiser, Scotland razor clams and the yellow shell clams were finished most quickly.👍🏻 Meat and balls were necessary but we have prepared too many.😂
Every time the hotpot ingredients were from wet markets of 3 districts.
👣Wong Tai Sin: Seafood, local fresh beef, beef tripe, beef balls with pepper and fishball. Types of seafood depended on what was fresh in the market. If I buy razor clams, they must be from Scotland. Regarding the yellow shell clams, there was only 1 store selling on that day and at $68/catty, while the common grey shell ones were at $28/catty. For local beef, I always let the store owner to make the decision for me as they know what’s fresh and nice.
👣Tseung Kwan O: Chicken blood curd. It was smooth, bouncy and without strange smell like most of the pig blood curd. As chicken blood curd was popular, let me share more about the handling method of it later.😉
👣Tai Po: Local fresh chicken, bean curd sheet and Angus beef. Good food is compulsory to welcome all the honourable guests for housewarming, though we have to stay alive with only bread and butter later on.👻 .
I was too stupid and got an accidental knife cut but I still want to take a picture to record the successful hotpot night with a victory sign✌🏻
